Shot Contests - NBA 2K20 has introduced a brand-new shot contest that utilized different criteria than the previous. Last year's contest shot system was one that was attacked side NBA 2K MT Coins. It was hard for defenses to stop the attackers. The new system for contests is based around the defender's proximity to the attacker.
The new system made perimeter defense was much more effective. It was much more difficult to shoot perimeter shots. It was much easier to balance offense and defense. Layups were eliminated with the shot contest system that was introduced. Layups, one of the most effective shots in basketball was deemed impossible to take down because of the proximity criteria. This is a straightforward issue to fix. 2K Sports could modify the finishing badges so that they increase the chance of getting layups.
AI Teammates - The AI MyCareer team members are currently poor. AI teammates do not appear to have any basketball feel. I'm not sure how many times I've attempted to give it to Cedi Osman who is a corner shooter in hopes of scoring an easy basket.
This easy bucket doesn't come through. It is believed that the AI will keep the ball in its possession for at least 3 minutes. This gives defense time to get closer. The shot is released by the AI after it's a 3 that is being contested Buy NBA 2K22 MT. The ball usually hits the rim and bounces off the wall.
