As someone who had to give up playing classic

I agree that the HoA was a fantastic system. It is so difficult for me to get around the thought that blizz knows what they are doing when they implement a system. They WOW TBC Classic Gold put systems in half finished intentionally. Look at the legendaries at legion. Participants were stating, making articles on official forums, so that the machine they were implementing for legendaries was dreadful and was only going to upset the player base. Silence. It had been set in as is and of course, people were upset. We had people in my guild who'd 3 legendaries at the start of EN. Even those who had at least didn't necessarily get what they wanted/needed. It required blizzard buffing the fall rates on legiondaries to make it feel better using"bad fortune protection". It took the whole growth for them to put the system as it should have been in the beginning. They know but for the sake of MAUs they include in fans and changes to systems to get people to stay or come back.

Also enhancement: got busted at the onset of the expansionwith a tried rework(Legion), were very good for a week due to a bug and bad gear so nobody scaled yet. Bug got fixed, and we had been in the garbage for the next 3 raids, with continuous dangling of'we had no time that this patchwe guarantee we fix it at the next one'. 9.3 came out and they said, has to wait till growth.

Well, it didnt occur in bfa - we sucked there also drama wise, we had any raidtiers where we had been midst of the pack instead of bottom third, but thats it. They eventually de-reworked the whole spec into a much better version of the pre-legion gamestyle (gameplaywise) and just never buffed us to be more competitive in raids. I think they just have some very committed designers for a few classes and specs, and also the ones that are always forgotten and disregarded just dont have someone who needs it to succeed, so they simply get looked in sparingly and get a 5% buff here and there.

Wait wait wait. I ceased playing back during Cataclysm, which had already been a meme back then make it was literally at the WOTLK trailer. You mean to tell me it never got implemented? I've kept up just a tiny bit Through the Years and forgot about this haha

As someone who had to give up playing classic as a result of lack of time, it has its flaws, since it's a really old game at this point, but it did a lot too. It did not have a whole lot of throwaway pieces. Everything in classic has been basically required, so as to operate somewhere else in classic. I haven't seen a match with systems that incorporated since then.

Meanwhile, I have not gotten any new expansions since legion. Why? Since the sport keeps chugging along, but I don't feel as though it is improved. I didn't even like Legion that far. It had been fine, but I was not excited. Hilariously, I loved MoP, since buy Burning Crusade Classic Gold I loved the side stuff (but maybe not a great deal of those dailies).
