I think if OSRS graphics were upgraded, this could be the appearance that is best

Honestly, I think if OSRS images were upgraded, this are the best appearance. No fancy 1st person stuff or OSRS HD/Remaster. I believe that this is the best appearance that does not stray to far from the classic appearance.

I think if OSRS Gold graphics were upgraded, this could be the appearance that is best

Honestly, I think if OSRS images were upgraded, this are the best appearance. No fancy 1st person stuff or OSRS HD/Remaster. I believe that this is the best appearance that does not stray to far from the classic appearance. Why the HD toggle is not avail from 2020 need something similar to this and no clue. I like OSRS how it's now. Yea I don't have an issue with this, but I think the option is the way to start it, ya know? So you believe the dev time is better spent on this than on material upgrades or game advancements? And reducing the number of prospective updates because of the OSRS team needing to create double the assets for everything they do?

I find it intriguing that folks use this same debate like it's some merit when a match making millions of dollars a year can't just do something or both? Like Jagex hasn't done this? Like is it or something? I am confused. It doesn't have to be just one or another. They're able to do both. They can't do both in precisely the same time as doing only 1. Time spent 'HD' resources is time NOT spent on game updates. They've done it before but it was a huge undertaking with a bigger team that was very divisive rather than appreciated by as many gamers as they had hoped. I see no reason why they would be interested in doing it.

Nothing crazy is required for OSRS, only something more gratifying to look at, which I believe 2008 images did flawlessly. The best part is that you had the option to choose between the two choices. I think the main counter argument is that it means greater dev work, since I imagine all assets or a few would have to be produced for the two graphic types. Unless it could be done procedurally without any significant development time added, I think it might not pass a vote if it had been done in an official capacity. That said, I'd love to be considering 2008 or similar HD graphics rather than what we've (enhanced by Runelite GPU ofc) now even if it meant delayed content releases. But I know not everyone will share this comment.

They had done it before, there are people who are utilizing it rn, there are solo programmers who have completed plugins and such. It shouldn't be tough to implement. The whining mob not needing a change of the method of looking can be dealt with by A option. To better attract new players, I believe having enhanced graphics would be rather valuable. Consider the long term marketing plan, do not be confined to the exact same old thinking of no manpower, no resources, bunch of updates boggled up. Man I remember running home from school because I was excited by the RuneScape HD upgrade. If it'd rshd too I would mainscape Buy RuneScape 2007 Gold.
